Admission to P.G.D.C.A class is based on the merit
list prepared by the college as per guidelines of
the university and according to the reservation
policy of punjab Govt.
1.The
duration of Post-Graduate Diplomain Computer
Science & applications (P.G.D.C.A.) course shall
be one year. The examination will be conducted at
the end of the academic year on such date sas may
be fixed by the syndicate.
2.
The minimum qualifications for the course shall
be:
a) Graduate (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com. or equivalent under
10+2+3 system of examination.
b) B.Tech./B.E.
c) Any other examination recognized by the
Syndicate as equivalent to (a) and (b) above.
3.
The medium of instruction and examination shall be
English.
4.In order to qualify the Project report the
candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks.
5.40% in the internal assessment part of every
subject separately of the examination whether
theory and practical as a pre requisite to appear
in the final examination.
6.In order to qualify in the examination the
candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in
Theory and Practical separately.
7.The Internal Assessment awards of the candidate
who fails in the final examination shall be
carried forward to the subsequent examination.
8.Every successful candidate shall be granted
Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Science
Applications indicating the awards in theory and
practicals separately along with any reappears or
and the Distinction / Division in which he/she has
passed.
9.The Admission to the course shall be on the
basis of entrance text and/or other procedures
laid down by the syndicate from time to time.
