The
admission to B.B.A/ B.C.A. -I courses will be
based on themarks obtained in +2 class and subject
to reservation policy of Punjab govt.
ELIGIBILITY FOR
ADMISSION TO B.B.A. & B.C.A. CLASSES:
(1) A
person who has passed one of the following
examinations shall be eligible to join the first
year class of three year B.B.A/B.C.A. courses.
(a) Pass in +2 examination in any discipline with
50% marks.or
(b) Any other examination recognised by the
syndicate as equivalent to (a).
(c)Should have studied and passed Mathematics up
to Matric level.(for B.C.A ).
1.1A person who has passed B.B.A/B.C.A.
First/Second year examination of the university
shall be eligible to join the Second/ third year
class of the Bachelor of Business
Administration/Computer Applications.
2.The examination in first/second/third year shall
be open to a student who :
(a) has passed not less than one academic year
previously the qualifying examination laid down in
Regulation 1.1
(b) has his/her name submitted to the controller
of Examination by the principal of the college he
has most recently attended and the principal has
certified that the candidate:
(i)has remained on the rolls of an affiliated
college for the academic year preceding exam.
(ii)has attended not less than 75% of the full
course of lectures delivered and tutorials held
separately for his/her class in each of the
subjects offered (the course of the lectures
counted up to the last day when the classes break
up for preparatory holidays).
(iii) has obtained at least 25% marks in the
aggregate of all the papers to be calculated on
the combined results of the House examinations.
3.The minimum marks required to pass each
examination shall be 40% in each paper.
3.1 A candidate who obtain 40% of the aggregate
marks of all the subjects but has failed in one
subject only obtaining not less than 20% marks in
that subject shall be permitted to appear in that
subject only at the next two consecutive
examinations (one in September /October in which
he/she is placed under compartment and the other
in April/May at annual examination) and if he/she
passes at either of these examinations he/she
shall be deemed to have passed the examination.
4.The medium of instruction shall be English.
Rules and regulations are subject to change as
described by the University.
